How To: Use the Material Editor to Import Colours

Follow these steps to learn how to download and import colour swatches into your KD Max drawings.

1. To begin, find and download the .JPG of your desired material. In this example, I am using Adriatic from Polytec. To download the image, simply right click on the swatch, select 'Save Image as..' and save it in your desired location.

2. Locate the downloaded colour swatch and simply drag and drop the file onto your desired cabinet. 

3. To globally change all of the colours to match your desired colour, navigate to Edit > Material Editor

4. From there, select your changed colour, confirm the colour map and move onto the apply tab.

5. Select the bottom option and click on another cabinet to see that all cabinets will be changed to Adriatic.
