Hardware/Screws and Cams

Hardware:

Hardware relates to the selection of screws, cams, adjustable shelf pins and assemble dowels used in specific types of units.

Items in Hardware MUST exist in the database to function correctly.

1. Open up the database in WoodCAM by heading to Maintenance > Data File Maintenance or Ctrl +M.

2. Open Hardware table in the database.

The default setting for hardware in WoodCAM when importing from goCabinets is RemoteEntryDefault.

Here selections are made for each type of cabinet and what type of connector (screws/cams) they are to be using in specific types of units.

Eg. An OpenBase unit when screws are to be used ScrewOpenBase (Item1) will use the “Assemble ScrewNS“ item.

An OpenBase unit when Cams are to be used CamOpenBase (Item2) will use the “OneFixCarcaseConnector” item.

These can all be modified for each type of fixing relating to each type of unit.
