How To: Add Holes, Shapes and Designs into Panels

Want to add some style to the end of an island or just add holes to any piece of board? 

This tutorial will run over how to use the Panel Hole tool to cut holes and shapes into panels in your KD Max design.

1.

Navigate to Panel > Edit Panel > Make Hole.

Select the Panel that the hole design will be applied to.

The Board Hole pop up will open enabling you to start your design. There are a few options you can select to assist in the design such as snap, show grid lines and select the spacing of the grids to be more accurate.

In this scenario, there are two panels stacked together to create an X design.
Now simply draw in the desired design or shape.

Once the design is finalized, click OK to apply this to the panel

You now have your own custom designs on your cabinetry!
