Do I need Stripe to use deposits?

No.

Deposits can also be used with Invoice payments if you prefer customers to pay by bank transfer.

Stripe is only required if you want customers to pay by credit or debit card.

Can I pass card fees on to customers?

Yes.

When Stripe is connected, you can choose whether card processing fees are:

• absorbed by your business, or

• passed on to the customer.

What happens if a job price changes after payment?

If the price increases or decreases after payment:

• the system will adjust the remaining balance

• customers can pay any additional amount required

• if an overpayment occurs, a refund may need to be processed.

Can customers still order without paying online?

Yes.

If card payments are disabled, customers can still:

• place orders using invoice payments, or

• charge jobs to their account.
